Thanksgiving Treat: Sweet Potato Pup Cookies

Let us be thankful for our canine companions this Thanksgiving! Spoil your dog this year with a festive treat that is tasty and good for them. Our Sweet Potato Pup Cookies are sweet without the sugar and use some of those delicious Thanksgiving foods we all love!

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 large cooked sweet potato

1 banana

½ cup quinoa flour

½ tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix the sweet potato and banana until smooth in a medium sized bowl.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, then mix in the quinoa flour, continue to mix until blended.
  4. Place a teaspoon of dough on a non-stick baking sheet. Lightly flatten each cookie on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes and let cool before serving.
