December 2020 Adoptable Dog of the Month: Atlas

Meet our December 2020 Dog of the Month, Atlas! He can be adopted via the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County.  Atlas is around eight years of age and came to GSROC after having been hit by a car.  He is a great dog and a favorite of those lucky enough in the rescue who get to spend time with him.  Atlas loves to play with toys! Atlas is a strong willed guy, but once he is your friend, he will love you forever.

We last featured Atlas as our July 2019 Adoptable Dog of the Month. Since then, this good boy was not acting himself last month. His foster parent took him to see the vet, and the poor dog had immediate surgery to remove his spleen.  Thankfully, he is recovering well, but he sure could use a home.  He is slow to trust new people he meets, but once he trusts you, he is truly an amazing dog.
