November 2019 Dog of the Month: Jack

Meet Jack, our November 2019 Dog of the Month! This rescue pooch is an eight-year-old American Pitbull Terrier.  He was found on the streets in Philadelphia and has scars on his body; but he is the sweetest boy despite his past trauma. He smiles at his people when they come home and at visitors. If someone comes over to do work in the house, he follows them around and acts as their apprentice. Jack is an only dog. He absolutely loves his chew toys and his favorite activity is walking. His favorite treats are duck wrapped sweet potato jerky twists, and basically anything else edible

Jack was adopted through Street Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) in Philadelphia on November 30th, 2018. Jack’s sweet nature is proof that nothing beats a rescue dog!

Jack is my adopted nephew and there could not be a sweeter, most loving dog. He had a hard life when he was on the streets and was obviously abused by lack of most of his front teeth. He was very head shy when we first brought him home but he now have complete trust in his new forever family. He also loves children. He even helped give out Halloween candy this year and greet the little Trick or Treaters dressed has Super Dog!!!!! We are blessed to have him in our family!!!!
